In the world of Remnant, creatures of darkness, known as the Grimm roam the planet. To aid in their survival, the residents of Remnant trained hunters and huntresses to fight the Grimm. The warriors trained in combat training school, such as Beacon. There, they learn the basics to defeating the Grimm.
Brute sat in his desk, his eyes were dropping as he yawned. “Blah blah blah,” he mouthed, while making a talking hand. Shortly after wards, he laid his head down on his desk as he yawned again then closed his eyes. Before too long, the behemoth was out cold. One hand was on the table, being used as a pillow, the other was limp at his side. The boy's snoring was echoing throughout the classroom. “Mr. Ero,” Professor Oobleck said. The boy didn't acknowledge his name being called. The snoring continued. “Mr. Ero... Mr. Ero! MR. ERO!” The teacher yelled again. The snoring stopped. “Five more minutes...” Brute said before the snoring continued. “BRUTE ERO!” Professor Oobleck called out, while standing right next to him. The boy snorted awake and sat straight up. “Huh, what? 23, black, scaly armor. What was the question?” He asked looking around. The class laughed at his confusion. “Mr. Ero, perhaps if you're going to be causing an earthquake, you can do it outside the classroom, hm?” Brute's face turned bright red but he laughed with the class.
After class was over, the behemoth was walking out, his eyes half closed. “I wouldn't fall asleep if his class wasn't so boring.” His stomach growled as he grabbed it with a hand. “What are they serving for lunch?” He asked. Right then, Cardin came up and attempted to shove the giant. But he would have had better luck moving a brick wall. Brute just looked at him with a questioning eye.
Giavannie sat in class and tapped her fingers to the music that was playing from her head set. It wasn't long before she herd the snores coming from another class giggling the girl looked towards the noise she wished she was able to be with brute and Kane. She felt lonely in the class she was in.
"That student. I don't know how his team puts up with him" another student spoke, Gia turned towards the student and glared. "Brute is the best." The boy laughed. "Your just sticking up for him because you like him." Gia's green eyes harden. She loved her team. Once the bell rang she got out of her desk and skipped her way down the hall. Making her way to the caffiteria she turned on her music and looked around "baby are you down down down down" the girl sang as she made her way around. Seeing the big team mate she squealed and jumped on his back. "Hiya"
Brute barely noticed the girl jumping on his back. He looked over his should to see her looking back at him. Cardin glared at the two then stormed off. "Hello, gia," he said with a smile. With one hand, he reached over and pulled her off of his back and set her on his right now. "How was class?" Slowly the line moved forward. It seemed like the closer he got to the food, the louder his stomach roared. Several people even looked back at him. Ero just smiled and patted his stomach. "I skipped 2nd breakfast today," The behemoth would eat all day if he had the chance. He's already banned from most all-you-can places.
Finally, he reached the food. It looked like spaghetti but he didn't really care what it was, it was edible and that was good enough for him. In almost two gulped the plate was wiped clean. "hmm...." Brute thought patting his stomach. Reaching into his backpack, he pulled out a goat leg and started eating it. Pulling out a smaller animal's leg, he offered it to Gia. "Want it?" he asked, his mouth full.
Gia waved good bye to the Bully and giggled as brute put her next to him. As the two got food she took a night right away then followed brute to the table. She then ate her food a bit slower then her fellow boys but she could still hold a lot of food. After all with a brother like Kane and a great buddie like brute food was something everyone enjoyed. Nodding as the tall boy pulled out meat she took the one he offered her nicely. "You always make the best meat." The girl took a bite and swollows. "What did that kid want from you? He was being a real jerk."
Gia's eyes seemed to scan the room for the bully and his friends. The red head didn't understand why mean people always acted mean but she always thought of getting them back for the rudeness they caused. "I can scare them? Go all ghost voice. It will be fun. "
The man laughed at her comment. "I have a lot of experience." he said, patting his gut. The smell of the meat filled the cafeteria. Ero eventually learned to make a lot of extra because people always wanted some. While he could sell his food and make a lot of money, the man would usually just hand it out for free. He liked making people happy. He thought about her offer. The thought of the bully screaming and running down the hall did put a smile on his face. After letting it run through his mind, Brute shook his head. "It wouldn't be very nice." Brute never was too fond of retaliation. For somebody that was strong enough to uproot trees, he didn't like violence.
The bell rang signaling that lunch was over. Scooping up the girl, he put her on his shoulder. "Hey, Big foot," Cardin called out, walking up to the two with two of his groupies. Brute turned to them. "You and me, in the dueling arena, don't forget your teddy bear." Cardin said, before walking off laughing. Brute just shrugged at the challenge. Before continuing to class.
