Kane wears a black ninja suit that covers his body. The suit has black hard leather that protect the chest, shoulder, arms and legs. He has a belt that goes around his waist. The belt holds his weapon. His face mask, when up, covers everything except his lightning blue eyes. When it's down, you can see his black hair. Although he doesn't smile very much, when he does, you can see his bright white wolf teeth. When he runs, his steps don't make a noise.
Personality:
The ninja usually keeps to himself, but he will talk to others. When he is not on a mission, he is usually either sharpening his blades and skills, or meditating. Social skills are not his strong suit, and he has a hard time making new friends. If approached, Kane is willing to teach others what he knows. He doesn't hate people, but he is not fond of large groups or communities. Kane is not known to trust strangers, especially ones that he thinks are shady. To help control his emotions and thoughts, Kane will often spend hours meditating in a location he considers to be peaceful.
When it comes to fighting, Kane doesn't like talking, but rather acting. If he sees an opening, he will take it. Marksmanship| Using his gun-blade, Kane can shoot with almost perfect accuracy at short to medium range targets.
Gear:
Gun blade| A long sword that can segment its blade, turning it into a razor whip. Kane can use the whip to tear his enemies apart or swing from place to place. It also has a gun incorporated into the sword, enabling him to shoot short to medium range targets. A shiny black, metallic coating covers the weapon. Kane has named the weapon Nightshade.
Smoke Bombs| bombs that release a thick cloud of smoke that obscures the vision of anything caught in it. The cloud prevents anybody from seeing more than a couple of inches in front of their face.
Sting Grenade| These bombs release a chemical that is similar to heavily concentrated mace. It is strong enough to disorient an ursa.
Semblance:
Kane's Aura lets him turning intangible for a short period of time. While he is intangible, he cannot hit or be hit by anything. If he stays like that for too long it will wear on him. If he is weak, the ninja cannot turn intangible.
History:
Kane was born and raised in a poor family. They would travel between kingdoms and were unable to afford safer transportation. His mother has a gentle voice and kind heart. She knew exactly what to say and what to do to keep Kane and his siblings calm and happy. She taught Kane how to cook food and make almost anything taste delicious and filling. He had two younger brothers and a younger sister. His father would teach him to fight and defend himself, hoping to better his chances of survival. He also taught the boy how to hunt and track food, for when there is nothing else to eat, one must live off the land. For Kane's ninth birthday, his family saved up enough money to buy him his first weapon, a gun-blade. Kane would practice with it continuously. After several months of training, he learned how to use the whip to swing from place to place and shoot at medium range objects with near perfect accuracy.
One day, while visiting a kingdom, Kane ran into Gia. While hesitant at first, the boy eventually became great friends with the girl. The Cross family accepted her as one of their own and took her in as part of their family. The ninja treated her like a sister and would protect her with his life. Kane trusted her deeply and told her everything. She was the first person that he told he was a faunas. His parents always taught him to not tell anybody because of the resentment a lot of people had for their kind.
Eventually, Kane and his father got jobs as traveling guards. They would migrate with a group of merchants to protect the caravans from danger. The Cross family was allowed to go along with them. While the job paid well, there weren't very many attacks. There was the occasional thief or bandit, but no serious attacks. However, that all changed on Kane's fourteenth birthday. A group of Ursa attacked the travelers and killed everybody they could. While Kane managed to save Gia, the rest of his family was slaughtered or went missing. That was the last time he cried. He vowed to do whatever he could to prevent another attack like this. After going to combat training school, he passed with flying colors. The ninja then went to Beacon to become a hunter.
Every year on his birthday now, Kane will hide from people and use the sharpening stone on his blade. The sound of cool metal grinding against the stone always helped calm his nerves and think. The boy blames himself for the loss of his family. When it comes to his family, it's a very sore subject to him and he will avoid it as much as he can.
